Surprised Well I'll Be Dammned! Can't Say That I've Heard Of Big Ant Studios Before, But Good Luck To Them. Hopefully It Exceeds All AFL Console Games Of The Past.

Good news. Footy lovers have long been screwed by a lack of decent options (Kevin Sheedy Coach anyone).

thats something, will be interesting to see if they can do anything good with it, I am really looking forward to "cricket life" as well it sounds interesting but was origonally supposed to be released in 2007 so wont hold my breath for that one.

Mate, if this game is going to be as good as we want it to be, you should do it justice by playing it on PC/Xbox/Ps3...how good do you think AFL will be on the Wii?

If it's like the NFL game it could be great but it probably wouldn't translate as well to the wireless controls

nothing really new. release date is set for mid-late March which is ok. by then they would almost have done 2 years of working on the game. IR Gurus spent 8-12 months

edit: found this article as well: http://www.theage.com.au/news/digital-life/games/articles/pinpoint-football-accuracy/2009/03/24/1237656928773.html

the game will be interesting to see, but I wouldnt be pinning high hopes on the outcome. I think Premiership-Coach will be the way to go.

really hope it has a "be a pro" kind of thing just imagine making yourself as a forward and being able to press R2 to make a lead to your right or L2 to make a lead to your left

if only......

Big Ant are releasing a new driving game for 360 and PS3 in February. It has pretty good graphics and has its own Be A Pro mode. Maybe it's a sign of things to come?

Don't get your hopes up.

I reckon this years game will be pretty bare... premiership/season mode, (go through seasons with draft and all that stuff), exhibition games, online, & maybe scenarios.

Yeah I've been following this game and looking forward to it for a while now.. I'm really disappointed that they've failed to give us any updates on the game since the announcement.. They said they wanted to release it in time for the start of this years season and it doesn't look like that's gonna happen the way it's going. Doubt Sad
