Hi Guys and Girls,

My names Josh - I'm one of the designers helping Ad in the Premiership Coach game. I'm curently creating a Player Profile pack for everyone to download. For all of you out there who are interested in having your own face included in the "Player Profile Pack V1" Please email me (click the little email icon below my sig). I will be able to generate your face into a 3D format and place it onto a model who was at the "Unoffical Draft Camp"!!

For me to make your image I will need two images. A front on image and a side image. both using the same pose and taken directly front on.

Here are some examples that I have created from scratch...

looking forward to your feedback.

Here is a character, template that I have come up with. I've created this white guernsey as a free agent style guernsey similar to EA sports free agents. This is another generated character.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to post some more info in regard to these pics.
Dont forget these pics need to be directly front on, with good lighting and quality. Remember the higher the size and quality the better texture I'll be able to get when converting to 3D.

Note: dont smile in the photo either as it will stuff up the 3d conversion! I've learnt this the hard way!
here are some internet examples..

Before I forget: if you are not interested in having a face converted to 3D and would simply prefer to have an actual photo used, and applied to the Premiership Coach photo template I can do this for you also.

sure will mate. At the moment I'm working with Ad as to how we can apply this application within the Premiership Coach game.

However for the time being I'm taking requests to create player pics, that they can keep and get their own photos into their own Premiership Coach season.

see how it goes

Nah it doesnt matter. Cheeseman hadnt been sent his serial key yet - but I still made him a picture. That way once he is all setup he can paste his image stright into the PlayerImages folder.

Still waiting for my serial, it's driving me crazy lol, but regarding the topic, my pics were actually taken on my phone, not long after I woke, as evidenced by the ordinary manner in which I appear, so it's really not that hard to get done. Smile

Food for thought, choke on it.

Keep sending Ad emails mate. Sometimes they might not get through or drop down if there are a lot of emails pumping through to him. It's always good to send a reminder email to make sure tha yours didnt go missing.

At first this what we were going to aim for but we might have to tackle this feature in another version of the game. The random name generator makes it very difficult to assign an image to it. What I think I might do is release a player pack with all sorts of random faces. That way people can rename a pic to whatever names they have in their lists and then simply paste those pics in the Player Images folder.

Maybe shou should make like heaps of random 3d images, so that you could really make it original with each player having a 3d image,

thanks mate. I have actually thought of this before. I'd like to introduce an image pack for everyone to download and apply to their drafted player names. Ill have a go at this when I have some free time one day.

hey mate it doesnt have to be a 3d image? You could even take a snap shot of yourself to put in there. All you have to do is past the image into your Install directory - and look for the folder called "Player Images" and paste it in there. The .jpg image needs to be written exactly as the same guy in your game. So for example you have made an image for Judd. Then paste the image in the "Player Images" folder and make sure its called "Chris Judd".

there is also a little bit of info on the features page if you are interested?

probably not for season version 2010 mate. you see the problem is that software i use only has 2 relevant hair styles that you can pick from. A shaved head or short black hair. If there were more hair styles I'd be able to spit out a huge drafteee pack. So in the future I'll be looking at how to have more options for this.

Yep I think I'm all done. Took me ages. I noticed quite a few player typos in the game so I have sent the list to Ad. Once these get updated I'll finalise the pack and provide a thread on here for you all.
