Release is getting closer and we're looking to step things up.
We're looking for volunteers who are interested in getting involved with the game. We need people who have a strong footy knowledge, committment, and significant spare time to work with.
What we want is to build a core group of 16 - one for each club who will be involved with: - research of all related club data - player ratings for their club - balance discussions for ratings against other clubs - other in-game content creation - development testing - Beta testing - website and game documentation help - forum moderation
If you're interested, please PM me with some information about you: - Name, age, email address - the team you support - teams who you feel you have strong knowledge of - how much spare time you have for involvement with the project - whether you would be prepared to continue committment into future versions - do you feel confident that you could take a lead role and coordinate others if the project expands to a point where we increase involvement?
Thanks to all those who have offered help through the various forum posts or emails at different times. With my focus on development, i havent been able to devote a great deal of time to the content side of things until now - and many thanks to Ausfatcat and Waspy who have done a great job holding down this side of things.
We've had a number of people involved already behind the scenes who for a number of reasons havent been able to continue on with us, whether due to change of circumstances or just loss of interest. I have removed contributor status on anyone who we havent heard from for a while. If you're in that group and still want to stay a part of the development process please PM me and we'll sort it out.

Hi, I have always wanted to be involved with something like this. I've been a player & a Grand Final umpire plus I operate an Aussie Rules website. I love Collingwood (been a regular attendee since 1964!), but have a fairly broad knowledge of other teams. I'd love to hear back from someone about either this, or future versions.

Tarkyn's still here.
I have a very strong knowledge of the Collingwood, Sydney and Fremantle lists, and I'm not too shabby with West Coast either.

I'm a Hawthorn member from WA, have a knowledge of both Eagles and Dockers as well, I grew up around the Swan Districts FC in the 80's when my dad was a player and later coach, i sat in the coaches box every weekend and was around a few quality footy minds growing up, would love to throw in my 2 cents if you want it

Hey guys - long time reader, first time poster. I'd strongly recommend going on the fan forums (ie; BigFooty, BomberBlitz, TalkingCarlton, Saintsational, PuntRoadEnd, etc) and asking for help. There are lots of football fanatics who would be willing to give up time to help this game get off the ground. Of course you would need to choose the right people to avoid bias or inaccuracy but you'll always need to do that.
Love your work.

Id like to help too. I have my own Graphic & Web design business so I could help out in those areas. If you need some 3d movies or something like intro movies when you load the game or something, I could help out aswell.
I also go for the crows but there seem to be a few crows supporters on here...

Feel free to let me know anything about player ratings etc. I've been a bit busy recently (and still have 2 exams on next week). But I hope to try and gather others input on the ratings more over the next few weeks.

Love your work. Thanks mate. I think we have representation on most of them at one time or another. My thinking behind having one person in charge of each club list (generally a passionate supporter of that club) is that they'll be able to get access to info from fellow fans through the dedicated forums etc. As well as the club boards for ratings discussions on this forum the guys are welcome and encouraged to engage supporters where ever they can find them. The question of bias comes up a bit, but consider that we'll be going through a lengthy balance process of each list relative to the others which will give us a blanced set by the time we release.

I sent in an email about this, I'd also like to help out and have some experience assisting in database editing and forum moderating with Childish Things (creators of the International Cricket Captain series) so I feel that's particularly relevant.
